past 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>The results are part of the study &#8220;European Spotlight on Golf Tourism to Spain,&#8221; commissioned by Reed Travel Exhibitions, organizers of the IGTM (November 11-14, 2013, Costa Dorada, Catalonia, Spain), and produced by SPORTS MARKETING SURVEYS INC.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"744\" data-end=\"792\">Top Golf Destinations in Spain<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"793\" data-end=\"1022\">\n<li data-start=\"793\" data-end=\"1022\"><strong>28.5% of golfers traveled to Spain to play.<\/strong><br \/>\n<ul data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"1022\">\n<li data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"902\">\n<p>12.7% chose the Costa del Sol.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"902\">\n<p>3.9% visited the Costa Brava.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"902\">\n<p>3.2% played in the Canary Islands.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"902\">\n<p>8.7% went to other areas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-end=\"1395\">The average duration of a golf trip to Spain is 7 nights.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1317\" data-end=\"1395\">Golfers prefer to stay in 4- and 5-star hotels.<\/li>\n<li
